A 28-year-old woman was stabbed to death Saturday night in Southeast Washington, police said.

       Police responding to a call discovered Chatia Taylor of Southeast suffering from an apparently fatal knife wound in an apartment in the 2400 block of Pomeroy Road SE.

       Investigators ask anyone with information about the incident to call 202-727-9099. The police department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

       As of Friday, there have been 184 homicides in D.C. in 2021, a 14 percent increase from this time last year.
