Photos have shown the inside of a military prison in Syria after the regime of Bashar al-Assad was toppled. Rebels overthrew the country's leader, who is believed to now be in the Russian capital, Moscow, yesterday.
Pictures from Sednaya Prison have shown men holding up nooses and people gathering around documents. Clothes littered the floors, with the horrifying conditions suffered by inmates also evident.
Photos also feature large crowds assembled outside the building. Reports have suggested that women, children, and men were freed after the prison fell.
