       KUWAIT CITY, May 9: The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) has declared a “temporary complete closure” of the Gamal Abdel Nasser Road tunnel leading towards Kuwait City. The closure, scheduled to commence at dawn tomorrow, Friday, will remain in effect until the following Sunday. This decision was communicated through the authority’s official account on the “X” platform earlier today, Thursday.

       In collaboration with the General Traffic Department, the designated tunnel will be shut down for 48 hours. During this period, temporary traffic diversions will be implemented to facilitate essential repair works. Specifically, two lanes will be made accessible for traffic while one lane will be closed to facilitate the completion of repair activities.
