AMPANG: A senior judge who is being investigated for alleged sexual harassment had lodged a counter report against the woman who is accusing him.

       The counter report stated that the complaint by the woman, who claimed that he had laid naked on a bed at her home in August 2020, was false.

       Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the report was lodged by the judge last month, just a few days after the woman went to the police.

       “At this time we are investigating further by calling up witnesses who may have more information that could assist in the investigation.

       “We have recorded the statement of the woman as well as other witnesses but I cannot elaborate further as it could disrupt the investigation,” he said when contacted.

       It was reported that investigations into the alleged sexual harassment by a senior judge is still underway.

       ACP Mohamad Farouk confirmed the matter.

       “Yes, the matter is still under investigation,” he said.

       Apparently, the judge had visited the home of the 57-year-old woman one night in August 2020.

       It is believed that her husband was bedridden during the time of the alleged sexual harrassment.

       In a Facebook video on Tuesday, former Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam claimed that there had been reports lodged against the judge previously.

       Lokman claimed that the victim found the man naked on bed and only left the house at 3am.
