KANDICE Barber's ex has said the paedo teacher must be punished for breaking jail rules to meet her criminal lover - now he's taking revenge.

Barber, 37, was convicted after she groomed one of her students, who was 15 at the time, before having sex with him in a field.

She was working at a site in London building council homes when she broke the rules

She was sentenced to six years and two months in 2021 but was granted a temporary prison release this year.

The convict started work at a site building council homes in Hounslow, west London, and was only supposed to go to and from work.

But "selfish" Barber used the privilege to meet up with convicted fraudster and new lover Jay Delaney.

We exclusively revealed that Barber, a mum-of-three, had been cuddling and holding hands with Delaney during their walks to and from work before sneaking off for secret romps.

"I think her behaviour has been a joke and warrants her to lose all privileges.

"I have blocked all communication from Kandice, she can no longer contact me.

"I have no feelings towards Kandice, she knew the consequences if she didn’t follow the rules.

"She knew she would lose all of her privileges, but again Kandice has shown her true colours and who she really cares about.

"It saddens me that I married this woman, because clearly I honestly didn’t know her.

"She hid this very selfish side of herself and I never saw it while being in a relationship with her.

"If you don’t follow the rules you should be punished.

"Let's hope wherever she is right now that she is sat there reflecting on her behaviour and how it has an impact on other people’s lives."

Prisoners are often granted temporary release, which is there to reintegrate inmates before their sentence is up, if they're eligible after consideration.

The MoJ said each temporary licence placement is based on an individual risk-assessment "which takes into account the likelihood of contact with known associations".

They went on to say all prisoners "are expected to travel directly to work and directly back upon completion of the work activity. Anyone who breaks the rules will be punished".

Loved-up Barber and Delaney, who met in prison, were both on release and had asked several times to go on a "day-out" together - which hadn't been allowed.

Despite being warned that their activity should only involve going directly to and from work, the convicts met up daily.

Shamelessly posing for selfies outside London Bridge station and Maidstone East station meant their love bubble was abruptly popped.

Danny added: "I am disgusted that Kandice would want to bring a fellow prisoner into her family and everyday life.

"Her new girlfriend has been convicted for being dishonest, for fraud.

"I can't believe she would want a person like this to be involved with her.

"This shows how selfish Kandice is and that she only thinks about what is good for herself.

"I feel sorry for the people that have been affected again by Kandice’s actions... who have stuck by her and never wavered or stopped loving her and being supportive towards her through all of this.

"Kandice’s choices led her to where she is today. She clearly is only thinking about her own needs and what she wants, and not the bigger picture."

After sticking by her throughout her trial and even after she was sentenced, the pair ended up getting divorced just one year later.

Danny, who is now in a new relationship with girlfriend Charlotte Smith and expecting a baby, said Kandice doesn't impact his life anymore.

He said: "My life is going from strength to strength, I have a positive life now, this nightmare is not a part of my life anymore.

"Kandice is nothing to my life anymore, we are divorced and have been for a while.

"I am moving on. I have so much to look forward to in my coming future.

"I have a new partner and a baby on the way. I have an amazing network of supportive people around me."

It comes after a source told The Sun that Barber and Delaney were "planning a life together" for when they're both released from jail.

Girlfriend Delaney was jailed for conning her pals and colleagues into giving her almost ￡400,000 of their life savings so she could fund her gambling habits.

She bawled her eyes out as the judge gave her four years and eight months after she pleaded guilty to 38 counts in April last year.

Barber, who worked at a school in Princes Risborough, Bucks, first flirted with her schoolboy victim in messages sent during a school assembly.

She also sent him topless snaps.

The mum, from Wendover, Bucks, kissed the boy on the neck and -whispered “What do you want to do now?” before driving him to a field where they had sex.

Kandice reportedly has shown no remorse for her crimes and still maintains her innocence.

A Prison Service spokesperson told The Sun Online last week that they were investigating the pictures we published - which showed the pair breaking the rules.
