KLUANG: A motorcyclist died on the spot after he was involved in an accident at Jalan Besar, Yap Tau Sah, near here.

       According to Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Low Hang Seng, the incident happened on Wednesday (Feb 24) at around 4pm.

       He said the 50-year-old victim was riding a motorbike from Jalan Kota Tinggi heading towards the roundabout of Yap Tau Sah.

       “The victim was hit by a lorry driven by a 29-year old male who had reversed the vehicle from a workshop," ACP Low said in a statement Thursday (Feb 24).

       He said the case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
