SUBANG JAYA: A fatal accident in Jalan Kampung Sri Cheeding killed one policeman on Saturday (April 16).

       When contacted, Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Abd Khalid Othman said that the victim was on the way back home after finishing a shift at 4.45pm.

       According to ACP Abd Khalid, the victim was on a bicycle when he was hit by a 4WD vehicle. The collision threw him down to the road and he sustained a grievous head injury.

       "He served at the USJ 8 police station. As of now no report has been lodged by the owner of the jeep and the police are urging witnesses to come forward to their nearest police station," he said.

       State police confirmed the deceased to be 31-year-old corporal Muhamad Nazri Mohd Nor.
