KULAI: Two people involved in a nasty incident between a four-wheel drive and a convoy of supercars, have been fined RM2,000 each.
The incident involved a collision, a woman being slapped and a car chase .
Lee Jia Ming, 28, pleaded guilty before magistrate Sharifah Maleeha Syed Hussin when she was charged yesterday.
According to the charge sheet, Lee had failed to control her vehicle, causing an accident to take place at KM34 of the North-South Expressway at 6.10pm on March 18.
She admitted committing the offence and was fined RM2,000, in default one month’s jail.
Lee, who owns a frozen chicken business, was represented by lawyer Tan Cheng Yee while DPP Eddlynn Wong prosecuted.
In the same court, 44-year-old bodyguard Nor Razman Abd Razak was also slapped with a RM2,000 fine, in default two months’ jail, for causing hurt to Lee.
Nor Razman, who was in the front passenger seat of the Lamborghini that was hit, is said to have slapped Lee during the incident.
He was represented by lawyer Mohd Azlan Shah Mohd Allias.Several videos, including one where the 4WD is seen tailing several Lamborghini cars before hitting one of them, went viral on social media and sparked a heated debate.
In another video, the Lamborghinis are seen blocking the road to stop the 4WD, driven by Lee, from escaping.
