       A 49-YEAR-OLD man from Klang paid RM10,000 in a bid to “secure” a sugar mama, only to later find out that it was all a scam, Sin Chew Daily reported.

       The man, who visited the daily’s Klang bureau to warn others not to fall for the scam, also brought along a police report he had made.

       He claimed that a rich woman had offered to pay up to RM15,000 a night for him.

       “When I heard it, I was naturally interested. She told me on the phone that I was worth RM1mil,” he said, requesting anonymity.

       He was later told to transfer RM1,000 to the woman, which he did.

       He paid a total of RM10,000 in several transfers before realising he had been scammed.

       “I want to warn everyone not to easily believe anything online relating to getting rich fast.

       “Once you fall into their trap, you will end up incurring a financial loss,” he said, adding that he hoped police could take action and put the culprits behind bars.

       The song Dalam Detik Ini was written to the tune of In This Moment, which was originally sung by Taiwanese singer Zhen-Ru.

       According to Soo, she is now taking Spanish lessons online with the hopes of pursuing a third PhD and developing her career in Spain.

       “I hope to release my own Spanish song in the future. If I ever do interviews on (Spanish) TV programmes, I will need to be able to speak fluently in Spanish,” she told the daily.

       She will be flying to Spain on Aug 20.
