       DERA MURAD JAMALI: One person was killed and nine others were injured in a collision between a passenger van and a dumper truck in Kachhi district, on Sunday, police said.

       Officials said the dumper hit the Quetta-bound wagon carrying passengers from Sibi in the Hrik area between Mach and Sibi, resulting in the death of one passenger on the spot. Nine others including three women received injuries, they added.

       The police rushed the body and the injured to Civil Hospital, Mach, where the deceased was identified as Mohammad Baqa. The victim hailed from Qila Abdullah.

       The injured were later shifted to the trauma centre of Civil Hospital in Quetta.
