Mr Farage and his team believe the explosive package of measures announced on Tuesday morning is what the public want.
Perhaps the triumph comes from how closely the plan resembles what is happening across the other side of Atlantic?
Mass deportations have led to a 96% fall in crossings from Mexico into America, Zia Yusuf, Mr Farage’s loyal lieutenant declared.
Reform strategists will be hoping for a similar impact on the Channel migrant crisis.
And the determination to restore control of Britain’s borders was clear for all to see.
It perhaps even went further than many people believed it would.
Mr Farage’s infamous answer to a question in September – which he was asked about during the press conference – about the “political impossibility” of deporting millions of migrants painted a picture that the UK would not embark on a mass deportation programme if he won next the election.
Then over the following months, the Reform UK leader spoke about detaining and deporting all “new” arrivals.
And a document given to reporters on Tuesday morning ahead of the press conference showed how far Mr Farage and his team are prepared to go.
It revealed a mass-deportation scheme which could remove up to 650,000 migrants in five years.
A new data centre will “automatically” share data between the Home Office, NHS, HMRC, DVLA, banks and the police and help Home Office Immigration Enforcement teams to find “all illegal migrants in the UK”.
There will be a six-month assisted voluntary return window. There, every migrant will be offered ￡2,500 to leave on a “more comfortable” flight.
Once this period has drawn to a close, we will see US-style raids across the country.
Mr Farage believes he has – or will soon have – the political mandate to go where no political party has dared go in the UK.
He declared that public opinion on migration is shifting drastically.
The Reform leader knows huge political – and possibly legal – battles are in the post if he wins the next election.
But this was a telling answer about Mr Farage’s convictions on this issue:
“We believe that what we’re offering is right and proper, and we believe for a political party that was founded around the slogan of family, community, country, that we are doing right by all of those things with these plans we put forward today.”
So, it’s clear.

The “Operational Plan” document describes Reform’s plan as “the ultimate deterrent”.
