One man was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning in the Marshall Heights neighborhood in Northeast Washington, according to D.C. police.

       Police responded to the triple shooting on the 600 block of 53rd Street SE at around 1:45 a.m. The three men were all taken to a hospital, police said. One man later died.

       Police did not have information Saturday afternoon about the conditions of the other two injured men.

       Police said about 20 rounds were fired. No other information from police was immediately available.
