PETALING JAYA: Malaysian delegates at the 32nd International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly were able to meet and exchange views with fellow delegates from other member countries during the assembly's plenary session on Tuesday (Dec 7).
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who was accompanied by Malaysia Shipowners Association chairman Datuk Abdul Hak Md Amin, said they heard speeches of several delegates delivering their general statements to the assembly.
"Malaysia had already delivered our statement via recorded speech on Dec 6," he said on Facebook.
He said the delegation was able to share and exchange views with delegates from various countries including Canada, Pakistan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Vanuatu, Mexico and Kenya.
