       KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: The Public Authority of Civil Information stated that some government agencies/ministries could not read the embedded microprocessor chip inserted in the Civil ID card as those government agencies have not updated their reading program which is distributed to all government agencies / ministries which they need to update their system and their website.

       The PACI stated that no Civil ID card for Kuwaiti citizens and expats is issued without the microprocessor chip being readable by automated system, correct data with information is recorded in the chip, reports Al Rai. PACI has called upon concerned authorities to update their system which will facilitate the visitors.
