A Mini Cooper owned by the bond girl Britt Ekland went under the hammer on Saturday in a classic car auction.

       The auction house said that Ms Ekland’s love for the Mini began in 1964 when she was introduced to it by her then-husband Peter Sellers.

       Gary Dunne, CCA’s Sales Manager commented “We are absolutely thrilled to be offering this beautiful, exquisite little Mini from Britt herself. With great provenance and well looked after, I can’t wait to see what this goes for."
