KOTA KINABALU: A 31-year-old woman in Kinabatangan was killed when the car she was in crashed into a Health Ministry vehicle.
The victim, Nurul Izzah Fatinah Ismail, was pulled out from her car and pronounced dead by the medical officer at the scene along Jalan Labuk, Kampung Perpaduan on Tuesday (April 5).
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 3.07pm.
The other victim, Abd Ruslan Abdullah, 53, who was driving an SUV owned by the Health Ministry, sustained minor injuries.
“The second victim was sent to the Kinabatangan Hospital for further treatment and the remains of the first victim was handed over to the police for further action.
“The operation ended at 5.01pm,” said a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman.
