A MAN in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, is offering free mobile phone repairs to assist the poor affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Sinar Harian reported.
Mohd Idris Mazlan, 38, said customers must bring their own spare parts for their phones while the labour cost is free.
“If you don’t bring your own spare part, I can help you buy it and fix it for free. I’m happy to help the needy during the pandemic,” he said.
He said he was inspired to offer the free mobile phone repairs in his house in Kampung Kubang Bunut after successfully repairing his mother’s smartphone.
Mohd Idris also said he used to own two printing shops in Kelantan before it was shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“After that, I continued my printing business at home and during that time, I watched YouTube videos on repairing phones,” he said.
He said since he posted his services on Facebook, he had received more than 100 WhatsApp messages.
