PETALING JAYA: The soon to be constructed Utar University Hospital will offer a variety of medical treatments, including modern and traditional medicine, says MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Following a meeting on Thursday (April 7) with the Inland Revenue Board, Dr Wee said that several matters regarding the hospital were raised.
"We discussed the objective of the creation of the Utar University Hospital, the importance of its sustainability and the welfare of its staff.
"The hospital will offer modern and traditional medicine services, as well as Chinese medicine, Ayurveda treatment and traditional Malay treatments that are of quality and affordable," he said.
He added that the meeting also discussed foreign student intake and the use of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) staff for foreign academic activities.
