MELAKA: Surveillance teams comprising enforcement officers from the relevant departments will monitor compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all 28 nomination centres, says Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali.
The Melaka police chief said officials from the Health Ministry, National Security Council, local councils and police will look out for those disobeying the SOPs at nomination centres in the state on Monday (Nov 8).
He said compound notices would be issued on the spot for those violating the SOP.
DCP Abdul Majid said the compound notices would be issued in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (National Recovery Plan) 2021.
