KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Fitters Diversified Bhd is the most heavily traded counter on Bursa Malaysia in early trade Friday with over 49 million shares done.

       The fire protection specialist fell 13.73%, or seven sen to 44 sen at 9.49am.

       Fitters’ major shareholder Datin Goh Hooi Yin, who is also the managing director, has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the group.

       She sold her entire stake in the company that was founded by her late husband Datuk Wong Swee Yee.

       Goh disposed of 98.73 million shares directly held under her name and 45.42 million shares, which were held through AllianceGroup Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd — Pledged Securities Account.

       For the six months ended June 30, Fitters posted a net profit of RM3.45mil, compared to a net loss of RM7.12mil a year ago, while revenue grew 30% to RM137.6mil from RM106.03mil.
