PETALING JAYA: Maxis Bhd will be featuring the performances of street musicians using a technology known as “virtual cube” in conjunction with its Riang Raya Maxis campaign.
With the technology, the musicians, including people with disabilities (PWD) would be able to perform Hari Raya aidil fitri songs at “dozens of places at once.”
“These ‘cubes’ are open to the public at NU Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, and Kota Baru Mall, Kota Baru, while the songs they perform will also be played at Maxis stores nationwide,” Maxis said in a statement.
The company is collaborating with Persatuan OKU Sentral to work with musicians with disabilities, whose performances will be featured on the platform.
“We believe that technology should enable and connect everyone, in every possible way, so that we can always be ahead together,” said Maxis head of brand and marketing Tai Kam Leong.
Maxis is launching its festive film, Last Kopek. It is about a group of resilient musicians who make the most of their abilities despite challenges.
