KUALA LUMPUR: Green Packet Bhd posted lower earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and ammortisation (Ebitda) losses in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2021 (Q3), narrowing the gap to RM17.84mil from RM39.05mil in the immediate preceding quarter (Q2).

       In a statement yesterday, the group said its net losses in Q3 also reduced to RM19.15mil from RM49.24mil in Q2.

       Meanwhile, Green Packet’s revenue for Q3 was recorded at RM119.16mil.

       “Compared to its year-on-year outcomes which recorded revenue, Ebitda loss and losses after tax at RM162.67mil, RM0.48mil and RM7.75mil, respectively, in the same quarter last year, the group’s third-quarter FY21 results come off the back of extended lockdowns and disruptions in global supply chains,” it said.

       Managing director and chief executive officer Puan Chan Cheong said the group’s quarter-on-quarter progress is a positive signal that it is heading towards a strong year-end.
