       KUWAIT CITY, July 4: The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation initiated the operation of the SCADA system today, Thursday, aimed at enhancing preparations for the upcoming rainy season. This system is crucial for monitoring and managing water pumps installed within tunnels.

       Eng. Khaled Al-Asimi, acting director of the authority, highlighted that the SCADA system enables centralized control over the monitoring and operation of pumps from both the control room and the entrance systems. Additionally, the system integrates cameras to ensure continuous surveillance and observation of tunnel conditions.

       The implementation of this advanced system marks a proactive step by the authority to bolster infrastructure readiness and ensure effective management of tunnel operations during inclement weather conditions.
