KUALA LUMPUR: Police have acquired a description of the suspects in a snatch theft involving a teenager along Jalan Kuching recently.

Siti Nur Azizah Syafriadi, 17, who suffered injuries to her right arm, unfortunately had to have it amputated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

The suspects on a motorcycle had snatched Siti Nur Azizah’s bag, who was riding pillion. She and the rider were both pushed off the bike they were on in the Aug 26 incident.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said they had CCTV footage from the area, but due to the distance, the images were grainy.

“We could not make out the number plate of the suspects’ motorcycle, but took the statement of the rider of the motorcycle the victim was with and have got a description of the suspects for a photo fit.

“We will release it as soon as possible,” he told reporters during an event to destroy pirated DVDs and online gambling equipment at Sentul here yesterday.

The suspects also stole the motorcycle Siti Nur Azizah and her friend were riding.
