Meghan Markle and Harry could 'present at Emmys' as 'nothing is off limits' for Sussexes

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been suggested as possible candidates to host an award at this year's Emmys. Royal expert Russell Myers discussed the possibility of the Duke and Duchess being invited to present at the TV awards with Christine Lampard in the Lorraine studio on Wednesday. Mr Myers argued that "nothing was off-limits" and pointed out that US chat show host Oprah Winfrey was hotly tipped to pick up an Emmy for her bombshell interview with the couple earlier this year.

Mr Myers told Lorraine: "I have said before nothing is off-limits with these two.

"The Emmys are obviously happening in the next couple of weeks and Oprah Winfrey is up for outstanding non-fiction series.

"And this of course her big interview with the Sussexes.

"It created such a stir at the time, watched by nearly 100 million people all over the globe.

"So will it win...the bookies favourite," he continued.

"The bookies are also saying that they may be invited to present an award.

"I think that is less likely.

"But everyone will be watching to see if Oprah does take the big prize."

It comes as royal commentator Ashley Pearson told the Channel 5 documentary 'Meghan at 40' that the Duchess may grow to regret the bombshell Oprah interview.

Ms Pearson said: "Some people might wonder whether or not Meghan may live to regret all of the revelations in the Oprah interview.

"Oprah herself said later she was surprised that Meghan said some of the things she did."

"I think the problem with Meghan is that she’s angry, she’s upset," added the Royal author Tom Quinn.

"I think she thought when she entered the Royal Family that she could shake them up and they’d love it, they would do things Meghan’s way.

"When that didn’t happen and she came up against what she sees as the forces of reaction, it made her so upset that that interview was her way."

He added: "I think the only way she could see, to get her revenge and put the case as she saw it.

"I think later on she’ll think ‘I shouldn’t have burnt my bridges' to that extent."
