A BODY was found in the River Trent this morning and cops are treating the tragedy as "unexplained".

       The body was pulled from the Gainsborough river in Lincolnshire just after 8am and the area has been cordoned off by officers.

       Lincolnshire Police have confirmed the death is being treated as "unexplained" as their investigation continues.

       A spokesperson from the force stated: "A police presence will remain for some time, and we would ask the public to please avoid the area while officers conduct their enquiries.
