PETALING JAYA: Bloc voting would be unlikely to be called for the motion of thanks on the Royal Address, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).
The Transport Minister said this was because only a handful of Opposition MPs were present to listen to the winding-up speeches from Cabinet ministers on Thursday (Sept 23).
"It seems that only Yb Gobind Singh (Puchong) and three others from the main Opposition bloc are here to listen to the winding-up speeches from the Cabinet ministers. Regardless, congratulations to the Opposition.
"May the motion of thanks on the Royal Address pass unanimously," he said on Facebook on Thursday.
