SINGER Elyana (pic) says she feels “reborn” after being declared free of stage four lymphoma cancer after battling the disease for a decade.
The 35-year-old whose full name is Erneelya Elyana Emrizal, admits that she cannot be too ecstatic for now as the cancer is in remission.
“I am just enjoying what I have now. Thank God, after more than 10 years, my prayers have been answered.
“I’m also gaining weight as I have regained my appetite.
“From weighing 35kg when I was ill, I have now reached 60kg.
“I never abstained from any kinds of food and because of that, many netizens used to criticise me,” she told Berita Harian.
Elyana added that her two children, Cinta Sumayyah and Cahaya Ramadhani, were happy to find out that she had been declared cancer-free.
“In the past, I could not accompany Cinta on her leisure activities such as swimming in the pool due to fatigue.
Now, she is happy because I am able to participate in all her activities,” she said.
Elyana had previously shared her plight battling stage four lymphoma cancer in 2017.
The cancer, she said, had also spread to other organs like her uterus and liver.
