Dan Horn said the encampment is losing him money
Local shopkeepers in the South Coast resort said that customers have been scared away by the encampment.
Dan Horn said he has been forced to surrender the spot where he normally sells coffee - because caravans are parked on it.
He said: "People are not coming down to the beach all the time they are here.
"I have a council-approved coffee concession which I cannot open and other events on the seafront have been cancelled.

A group of travellers previously parked 24 caravans and motorhomes on Goring's village green in 2022 - before the council ordered them to vacate it.
Twelve caravans were told to leave the Goring gap in April 2021, with the council arranging a court hearing to enforce it.
