Two other, separate payouts for clinical negligence came to more than £2million.
Almost £2million also went to the family of a serviceman killed in a collision.
Another £1.5million was paid over a helicopter crash death while other payouts included £1.5million for injuries caused by an IED blast and £1.4million for severe shrapnel injuries.
The MoD refused to say where the incidents took place but the disputes can often last years.
Figures released to the Sun on Sunday also showed almost £1million was paid to a member of the armed services who was left deaf after exposure to gunshot and explosions.
