A SELF-PROCLAIMED ‘godman’ in India, who has been charged with sexual harassment, claimed in his bail applications that he is impotent.

       Makkal Osai reported that Siva Shankar Baba, 73, was accused of the offences by students in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

       Siva Shankar was arrested in New Delhi and subsequently, charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

       He filed bail petitions at the Madras High Court, seeking a release, while claiming that he couldn’t have sexually harassed the students as he was impotent.

       He also reportedly claimed to have undergone medical examinations confirming that he was impotent.

       The judges questioned this claim. The court later rejected his application for bail.
