KLANG: The family of a 77-year-old man is worried for his safety after he failed to return home after going out in the wee hours of Tuesday (June 22).
Tan Peck Wah, 51, said a neighbour heard her father Kim Siang leaving the house at about 2am.
"Our neighbour heard the sound of my father's motorcycle leaving our compound.
"We are very worried as my father is not in good health and suffers from diabetes, asthma and Alzheimer's disease," said Peck Wah who lives with her parents and two sisters at Jalan Sungai Putus in Batu Belah near here.
According to Peck Wah, her father sleeps in the downstairs room whilst the rest of the family sleep upstairs as he has difficulty ascending the stairs.
Kim Siang was riding a red Yamaha Nonvo motorcycle with the registration number WCW 3571.
Peck Wah said her father went missing before but was fortunately rescued by a villager in Meru.
"He had fallen down and was disoriented but a villager found him and called after obtaining our contact details from his wallet," said Peck Wah.
She added her family has lodged two police reports.
Those who spot Kim Siang are asked to keep him where he is and to call Peck Wah at 016-323 9806 or the Bandar Baru Klang police station at 03-3341 2222.
