PETALING JAYA: CapitaLand Malaysia Trust has announced the appointment of Tan Choon Siang as its new chief executive officer (CEO), with effect from Jan 1, 2022.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CapitaLand said Tan, 45, had more than 20 years of experience in financial management, investments, corporate finance, treasury and investment banking.

       Tan, who was appointed the group’s CEO-designate from Nov 1, 2021, will succeed Low Peck Chen, who has resigned from her position.

       “As part of the leadership rotation programme, Low will be appointed as the Malaysia chief representative of CapitaLand Investment Ltd, a member of CapitaLand Group,” CapitaLand said.
