PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 21,176 new cases, bringing the nation's cumulative total to 1,940,950.
In a tweet on Friday (Sept 10), the Health Ministry added that another 341 people succumbed to Covid-19, bringing the country's death toll to 20,168.
It also said there were 21,476 recoveries for a total of 1,700,438 to date.
Sarawak continued to record the most new infections with 3,734 cases, followed by Selangor (3,595), Johor (2,297) and Sabah (2,246).
Only three localities recorded less than 100 new infections - Perlis with 77 cases, Putrajaya (21) and Labuan (6).
