Royal Family LIVE: We need privacy! Meghan and Harry savaged as 'people prefer' Queen

GB News host Mercy Muroki discussed the Royal Family's reputation in the wake of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Oprah Winfrey interview, which saw the couple make a series of claims about the monarchy including racism accusations. The presenter insisted that "by and large" people prefer the Royal Family over Meghan and Harry.

Speaking on GB News, Ms Muroki said: "I find solace in the fact that by and large I do believe that people prefer the Royal Family over Meghan and Harry so I don't think their reputation has necessarily been damaged."

Ms Muroki also hit out at the couple for saying they want privacy and highlighted their tell-all TV interview, Netflix deal, Spotify deal and books.

She said: "I don't know about you but I'm bored at Meghan and Harry putting their two cents into just about everything.

"Quite frankly, I'm wholeheartedly, unreservedly uninterested in what they have to say about anything.

"I simply cannot summon damns to give but I'm forced to listen to their opinions because they're literally inescapable.

"Meghan and Harry say they want some privacy and space but I'm starting to feel like it's us who need a bit of privacy and space from them."

The Sussexes quit royal duties in March 2020 and are now living in California.
