A FASHION student won't walk again after being shot in the neck as was was caught in crossfire in a London gun attack.

       Natalie Bignell, 32, was left with a serious spinal chord injury after being struck by a stray bullet in Hackney, East London.

       In April, three men were charged over the shooting.

       A fundraiser has been set up to help pay for Natalie's physiotherapy and equipment costs following the "life-shattering injury."

       Natalie from Plymouth, Devon, had been an innocent bystander during a shooting in November last year.

       She was left a quadriplegic and unable to feel or move anything from the neck down.

       Her injuries mean she will no longer be able to walk or use her hands again.

       She was rushed to hospital as she battled for her life and underwent two life-saving operations.

       Natalie now needs 24-hour care, specialist equipment, regular physiotherapy, and an accessible home that is able to cater to all of her needs.

       Her care is partially funded by the NHS, but Natalie needs additional support as she continues her rehabilitation.

       The GoFundMe page says: "Natalie is a creative, kind, compassionate and loyal person who before the incident had a career in fashion ecommerce, loved travelling, socialising and enjoying life as a go-getting 32 year old.

       "With her second chance at life Natalie has plans to continue exploring her creativity through painting, drawing and making prints - all hugely inspirational given her injuries.

       LIFE-CHANGING INJURIES

       "Please consider donating to support Natalie through her rehabilitation journey and help her get regular physiotherapy and equipment that she needs to salvage the use of her limbs and avoid regression in her mobility."

       The fundraising page has raised almost ￡25,000 of a ￡50,000 target.

       Earlier this year, Akile Lee-Walton, 23, was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

       Reuel Briscoe, 28, was charged wiith conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

       Jeremiah Briscoe, 24, was charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
