       KUWAIT CITY, June 18: In a significant development, Decree No. 116 of 2023 was issued today, announcing the formation of a new cabinet ministry in Kuwait. The decree, issued after a careful review of the constitution and an Amiri order appointing the Prime Minister on June 13, 2023, outlined the composition of the cabinet based on the Prime Minister’s proposal.

       The following appointments were decreed:

       Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ahmed Fahd Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Issa Ahmed Muhammad Al-Kandari: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Saad Hamad Nasser Al-Barrak: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil, and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Fahd Ali Zayed Al-Shula: Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Abdul Rahman Badah Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi: Minister of Information and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wahhab Ahmed Al-Awadi: Minister of Health Dr. Amani Suleiman Abdel-Wahhab Boqmaz: Minister of Public Works Dr. Hamad Abdel-Wahhab Hamad Al-Adwani: Minister of Education Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah: Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Othman Muhammad Al-Aiban: Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Manaf Abdulaziz Ishaq Al-Hajri: Minister of Finance Dr. Jassim Muhammad Abdullah Al-Astad: Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy Faleh Abdullah Eid Faleh Al-Raqba: Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Firas Saud Al-Malik Al-Sabah: Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs

       The Prime Minister, Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, will notify the National Assembly about this decree, which will come into effect from its issuance date and be published in the Official Gazette.
