KULAI: The right lane between Senai Utara to Kulai northbound of the PLUS Highway will be temporarily closed to all vehicles for upgrading works.
PLUS Malaysia Bhd in a statement said that KM24.65 to KM27.25 would be closed for three-and-a-half months to ensure that its concrete barrier upgrading project could be conducted smoothly.
“The stretch will be closed from noon on Sept 20 until noon on Jan 1 next year.
Throughout this period, traffic on the affected stretch will be diverted to the left and emergency lanes to maintain two-lane access at all times," said PLUS.
“Additionally, road users passing through the designated area are advised to obey the speed limit of 60km/h and instructions by the PLUS personnel on-site,” it added.
PLUS also said that highway users heading north are advised to plan their journey using the PLUS App and check the latest traffic conditions via closed-circuit television feeds.
Those who need assistance for emergencies can also use the SOS button on the app to get in touch with the PLUSRonda team.
“We appreciate the cooperation of all highway users throughout the maintenance period to ensure that the traffic flow is as smooth as possible for a positive journey for all,” the statement said.
