Just Stop Oil protestors crash The Proms at the Royal Albert Hall
Climate campaign group Just Stop Oil are planning to “paralyse” London this week with an Express.co.uk reporter going undercover to expose their plot to “shut down the capital”.

The activists have already disrupted several events this year including Wimbledon, the Ashes, the Chelsea Flower Show and London Pride.
Speaking about the protests causing delays, Lee Anderson, Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, told Express.co.uk: “These eco extremists just can’t seem to get the message. Their new plan is downright diabolical - all they’ll achieve is more ambulances delayed, fire engines stuck and police cars gridlocked. Just Stop Oil need to be dealt with swiftly and firmly.”
To reduce disruption to hard-working Brits, Home Secretary Suella Braverman has already given police new powers to remove activists from the road under Section 12 of the Public Order Act.

Ms Braverman told MPs last month: “People have a right to get to work on time free from obstruction, a right to enjoy sporting events without interruption and a right to get to hospital.
“The roads belong to the British people, not a selfish minority who treat them like their personal property. The impact of these disruptors is huge.”
The group is calling for the Government to end reliance on fossil fuels, wanting more investment in renewable energy.
A spokesperson for Just Stop Oil previously said: “The Government has the power to stop this huge waste of police time and resources immediately, by ending new oil and gas. The money would be far better spent on protecting the British public by leading a rapid transition away from deadly fossil fuels.”
