KUALA LUMPUR: A police officer from Bukit Aman who made a live TikTok video during a raid on an entertainment centre will be transferred to the Johor police contingent headquarters.

On Tuesday, Razarudin had said Bukit Aman would ensure a fair investigation of the officer, who was still on duty pending the outcome of the probe.

"We must investigate it fairly. The Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) is investigating the officer," he was quoted as saying.
On Monday (April 25), Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) director Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said an initial investigation found the video posting by the officer, from his department, was a personal message meant only to promote her TikTok account.
The 1min, 38sec video went viral on social media showing the policewoman, who has the rank of Assistant Supt (ASP), wearing a police operations jacket explaining the scope of her work, which includes conducting raids and inspections.
