KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd will increase their base rate and fixed deposit/Fixed Return Income Account-i rates by 25 basis points on May 18, 2022.

       In a statement, CIMB said this was in line with Bank Negara raising the overnight policy rate from 1.75% to 2%.

       "Similarly, all financing facilities based on the Base Lending Rate (BLR) and Base Financing Rate (BFR) will be increased by 0.25%," it said.
