Experts at CasinoTop 3 used a popular UK e-commerce website to reveal the highest resale price there is and discover the most valuable old consoles between the fifth and eighth generation.
So, you might want to put a pause on getting rid of those old devices and gaming collection you've been hanging onto.

And for anyone lucky enough to still have a hold of one game, you could bag yourself a whopping £16,700.
Halo: Combat Evolved for Xbox One is the game that it is selling for highest price online. However, it is it's special edition that could easily add thousands of pounds to your pockets.
The standard edition is listed at £650, which is also incredible so still worth a check.
For those hanging onto their Nintendo Game Boy Colour (GBC), you could also make a nice amount. The most valuable game console between the fifth and eighth generation is selling online for up to £1,425.

Although selling old games and devices is a good way to make quick and easy money, knowing where to sell isn't always easy.
Fortunately, the gaming experts gave some tips on how to make the most out of old games and consoles if you do hope to resell them.
The Casino Top 3 team said: "Your old games and consoles could be worth a fortune! To make sure you're getting the best value out of them, store them in a cool, dry spot away from heat or sunlight.
"The more you protect them, the more you earn, so use cases and try to keep everything; original packaging, cables, controllers, and even manuals! It can add up to 50% (or more) to their value."
