KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: The decision by Cabinet Ministers regarding operation of the airport to full capacity created a positive atmosphere in aviation and tourism and travel sectors. This decision will reduce ticket cost and have a positive impact on the economy. From Oct 24th Directorate General of Civil Aviation will operate to its full capacity to its normal level prior to the beginning of pandemic crisis.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Tourism and Travel Offices, Muhammad Al-Mutairi stated that opening of the airports will raise the operation of airlines and passengers which will contribute to national economys GDP, reports Al Rai. This decision will reduce the cost of ticket prices as there will be sufficient seats available to meet growing demand for flights. Travelers from Kuwait will soon be able to see prices of tickets to some destinations for less than KD 100 for round trip.
The Board of Directors of the Travel and Tourism Federation, Hussein Al-Sulaiten, said lifting restrictions on operations at the airport will benefit the passengers, as it will reduce the cost that he bears mainly in the recruitment of domestic workers or their travel and return on their annual vacations. Normal operation with direct flights to destinations will reduce ticket prices by 50 percent.
