PETALING JAYA: Disciplinary action will still be taken against the four policemen caught partying inside a police station despite no criminal charges being filed.
Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department director Comm Datuk Azri Ahmad said that the decision not to press charges was made by the deputy public prosecutor.
“I have been informed that the second urine test conducted on the sub-inspector came back negative for drug use. They have also been issued compound notices for not complying with Covid-19 standard operating procedures,” he said
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed, when contacted, said that the disciplinary action process was ongoing.
Previously four policemen, including a police station chief (OCS), were among those arrested after being discovered at a "private party" inside a police station in Kajang in July, following a public complaint.
It is known that alcohol bottles, disco lights and a sound system were among the items seized during the raid at the police station in the district then.
