       KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi has granted arrest powers to 56 officials at the Ministry of Information as per Ministerial Resolution No. 44/2021, which stipulates ways to deal with anyone proven to have violated laws and ministerial decisions, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting sources.

       According to the decision which will be published in the Official Gazette soon, those granted arrest powers include the assistant undersecretary for Press, Publishing and Publication Affairs; director of the Publications Inspection Department; director of the Audio-Visual Media Department; director of the Artistic Works Department, director of the Local Press Affairs Department, director of the Publications and Publishing Department, director of the Electronic Publishing Department and director of the Government Printing Department.
