The new Honor Magic4 Pro smartphone is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, with free gifts worth up to RM1,656.

       Featuring a 6.81in OLED Fullview curved screen with 93.5% screen to body ratio and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Honor says the display is also ‘IMAX Enhanced’ certified to enable a more immersive viewing experience.

       The company claims that the Magic4 Pro’s screen is also built to reduce eye strain, thanks to the 1920Hz PWM dimming LTPO technology in the display which promises to reduce brightness fluctuations and screen flickering in dark or low light environments, and adjusts brightness under different lighting conditions.

       Honor also claims that the LTPO technology can reduce battery consumption by automatically adjusting the refresh frame rate according to different usage scenarios.

       Photography buffs should be pleased to see that the device comes with a triple rear camera setup starting with a 50-megapixel wide camera, a 50-megapixel 122° ultra wide camera and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, plus a 3.5x optical zoom and a 100x digital zoom.

       For selfies, the device has 12-megapixel wide angle front camera capable of supporting 4K video recording. It is also equipped with a 3D Depth camera for face unlock.

       The device’s Magic-Log Movie Master and AI Film Effects should also appeal to video enthusiasts as it allows them to shoot 10bit Log 4K videos in 60fps, which Honor says is commonly used to shoot professional-grade movies.

       The Honor Magic4 Pro also comes with an AI Privacy call feature which the company claims can prevent others from overhearing phone conversations, which it reportedly achieves by adjusting the speaker and screen towards the user’s ear.

       Under the hood, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space with 4,600mAh battery capacity and support for max 100W SuperCharge.

       Other features include Google Mobile Services plus IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

       Priced at RM3,999, the model is available in three colour options namely Cyan, Black and Gold. The pre-order period starts today (June 1) until June 10 and customers will receive free gifts that include an HonorMagic4 Pro PU Case worth RM149, an Honor Watch GS 3 worth RM999, six months screen crack protection and extended warranty.
