KOTA KINABALU: Fire and Rescue Department personnel came to the rescue of an eight-year-old boy in Semporna who had managed to get his genitals stuck in the zipper of his trousers on Thursday (Mar 24) evening.

       The Fire and Rescue Department initially received the report at 4.23pm Thursday about the incident that occurred at SK Kampung Simunul.

       “The victim ended up in his predicament after going to the toilet.

       “The district Fire and Rescue team assisted in opening the zipper using specific tools, and after ensuring the safety of the boy, ended the operation at 4.48pm,” a state Fire and Rescue spokesman said.
