The authority has until Sept 26 to submit a report on this. The Council of Ministers has also given PAM two weeks to study the possibility of stopping the employment support to national workers in the private sector whose salary is 3,000 dinars or more than that.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) confirmed that debtor countries have fully paid 369 loans so far; indicating all debtor countries pay their installments as per the agreed payment period with the fund, reports Al-Jarida daily. Asked if any of these loans were written off or converted into grants, KFAED said no such steps have been taken since its establishment in 1961. And , the Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist at the Farwaniya Hospital, Dr. Abdullah Al-Freij announced in September 2020, 216 difficult peripheral venous cannulas were installed in children’s unit and continues to work until now, with a success rate of 98.4 percent, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Dr Al-Freij said in a press statement, the most important feature of this team is the use of the sonar device to install difficult peripheral cannulas which is a distinct and unique service, pointing to the response of the medical team and the satisfaction of pediatric patients when installing intravenous cannulas. He thanked the management of the Farwaniya Hospital and the medical and nursing staff for their support in making this unique service a success
