PETALING JAYA: CIMB Private Banking has been recognised as the “best domestic private bank” and “best for mass affluence/high net worth” in Malaysia at the Asiamoney Private Banking Awards 2022.

       This was the third straight year that CIMB has won the best domestic private bank award by Asiamoney.

       “These awards recognise our position as the leading private bank in Malaysia, successfully serving high-net-worth individuals and families for the past 20 years.

       “We are privileged to be able to serve our clients, especially in a year that was among the most challenging across markets, and are proud to have been able to continue to add value to our clients supported by strong advisory capabilities,” said CIMB Investment Bank Bhd chief executive officer Jefferi Hashim in a statement yesterday.

       The Asiamoney Asia Private Banking Awards are presented annually to outstanding financial institutions who demonstrate an ability to meet strategic targets and are differentiated from their competitors in terms of their performance, strategy, and client offerings.

       CIMB offers consumer, commercial, wholesale, transaction and Islamic banking, and asset-management products and services.

       The group is present in all 10 Asean countries and has a market presence in China, India and South Korea, among others.
