A man was reported in serious condition after he was found lying on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound, Waukegan police said Monday.
Police said they were dispatched at around 6:45 a.m. Sunday to the area of Lewis and Lydia streets for a report of someone on the ground. Upon arrival, they found a young adult male on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a hospital where he was reported in serious condition Monday.
